Delete your account

In the app

Tap the profile button next to the settings gear, then Delete account. It happens straight away.

If you can’t sign in

Email [email protected] from the address you signed in with, and ask us to delete your account. We’ll delete it within 30 days and let you know when it’s done.

What gets deleted

• Your account, including your email address and name.
• Everything saved to your account: your games, puzzle attempts, ratings, stars, and the lessons and opening lines you’ve completed.

Progress saved on a device stays on that device until you clear it with Reset all progress in Settings. Payment records kept by Stripe, Apple or Google are kept for as long as the law requires. Usage statistics stay, with nothing left that links them to you.

Subscriptions

Deleting your account cancels a subscription bought on the web. A subscription bought in the App Store or Google Play has to be cancelled in your store settings.
